I loved this! Beth was a great teacher. I always respected her as a colleague and really liked her as a friend. So glad she taught my children, and that I got to teach and love her children.
Watched your interview with Beth Gavin. Well done, and it showed a lot of her personality. She is still one of the most influential teachers in my life — and I had many. Thanks for the gift. I had forgotten she was a preacher’s kid. You really are a journalist who gets more than the story. You capture the heart, too.
